06.02.2009 Mission Statement IVAO Turkey Division ATC Operations Department handles all ATC operations in IVAO Turkish airspace as well as maintaining coordination of controllers, ATS quality and continuity. In coordination with the other departments of IVAO Turkey Division, the main aim of the department is to provide the most efficient environment for virtual controllers in IVAO Turkey Division and optimize the effectiveness of ATC services provided in IVAO Turkish airspace. Operation The department is responsible for the accomplishment of the following duties: - Arranging virtual controller assignment and duties - Providing coordinated ATC services in events - Taking records of ATC operations in IVAO Turkey Division - ATC and IVAO Turkish airspace documentation - Database renewal and updates - Updating IvAc Sector Files - Assistance for virtual controllers - Coordination with the training department for the progression of ATC trainings Rules All virtual controllers in IVAO Turkey Division should meet several criteria by; - Reading IVAO-TR ATC Procedures and Operations Manual.
- Having taken the corresponding level of IVAO-TR ATC training in order to take the practical examinations.
- Being able to communicate in English.
- Being respectful and hospitable especially to foreign pilots.
